Effect of daylight and air oxygen on nanozymatic activity of unmodified silver nanoparticles: Shelf-stability

In this work, unmodified silver nanoparticles were synthesized by a simple and cost-efficient method then characterized TEM imaging UV-Vis. spectroscopy. Thereafter, their nanozymatic activity was investigated catalyzing the oxidation of 3,3’,5,5’-tetramethyl-benzidine (TMB) as standard peroxidase substrate. The results exhibited specific high 5.4 µM min-1 for as-prepared nanoparticles. Afterward, effect daylight air oxygen on peroxidase-like these nanozymes checked within 7 days. revealed that approximately retained at about 75%, 63% after days exposing oxygen, in order. shelf-self also 4 ℃ under dark conditions, saved 96% initial 10 storage conditions.
